Sunday Night Lectio

Sunday Night Lectio

A weekly Holy Hour with Jesus in Word and Sacrament, open to all ages at St. Dominic Catholic Church {currently on break}

Overview

End your weekend, or begin your week, with this quiet hour of prayer with Jesus our Lord. Expect a brief, guided reflection on the Gospel as we sit or kneel in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. We believe that Jesus Christ is truly present in the Eucharist - Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. From this, the Catholic practice of Eucharistic Adoration flows. During this hour, the Eucharist will be exposed (displayed) in a vessel called a monstrance. As we sit or kneel before the Lord, we’re invited to gaze upon Him as He gazes upon us with His piercing love.
