St Dominic Parish will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with our young people on Saturday, October 3, 2026 with Bishop William Wack presiding. We anticipate a large number of candidates so we are offering two options for candidates to prepare for this beautiful and important sacrament.

To be eligible for these preparation sessions in 2026, the child or teen must be:

Baptized Catholic
Have already received First Holy Communion (by March 2026)
Between the ages of 7-18
Not already confirmed
Attending Mass weekly
Demonstrating signs of readiness

If your son or daughter meets these criteria, we encourage them to join us in preparing for Confirmation!

Candidates may not be dropped off for these sessions. At least one parent is required to attend each week with their candidate. Some weeks you'll be together; some weeks we'll have parent formation separate from student classes.

Event Schedule

Families have two options to choose from for preparation sessions - Spring 2026 or Fall 2026.

Choose whichever session best suites your family. Both sessions will feed into Confirmation Masses on Saturday, October 3, 2026 (10:00am English and 2:00pm Spanish).

Spring Session (Sundays 3:30-4:30pm): April 12, April 26, May 3, May 10, May 17, May 31, June 7

Fall Session (Tuesdays 6:00pm-7:00pm): August 4, August 11, August 18, August 25, September 1, September 8, September 15

*All candidates and their families are asked to come together for an Upper Room Night on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 as final preparation for Confirmation!
